Ch.7 Temptations.

                                                               Ch.7 Temptations.

     Kira and Inuyasha arrived at their hut to find Sayuri, Rin and Yaken eating already. They set down the groceries bags and sat down to eat too.

    "Inuyasha, Miroku came looking for you a while ago... I think it was important...", Sayuri said between mouth-fulls.

    "I think is about Sango...", Inuyasha said taking a spoonfull of his food.

    When Sayuri heard what Inuyasha just said she began chocking. "And i thought he loved me... Stupid me...", Sayuri thought with sorrow.

    "Sayuri-chan... Would you like to taste this food i brought from my era?", Kira asked bringing Sayuri back to reality.

   "Huh?... Eh... What is it?", Sayuri asked with curiosity.

   Kira took one of the bags and took out a big bag of chips. Sayuri felt the temptation on accepting. She was intrigued by the shiny bag. "What kind of food can it come out of this shiny thing?...", Sayuri thought with curiosity.

   "So... d'you want some?", Kira asked again.

   Sayuri smiled amused and accepted. She opened the bag and all the chips flyed all over the hut. Inuyasha and Kira giggled amused by the expression Sayuri made when she riped the bag.

   "Oh my god!, This things are alive!", Sayuri said a little affraid.

   "It's alright Sayuri, They're not alive... it's just potato chips.", Kira said smiling.

   "Oh... Okay...", Sayuri said embarassed by her weird actions. She took the rest of the chi ps that were left on the bag and tasted them. The chips were crisp and tasty, they tasted like onions and cream.

   "So what do you think?", Inuyasha asked after a few moments.

   "They are delicious! I'd like to have more! But another time.", Sayuri said with a big smile on her face. "I have to go somewhere. I'll see you guys later. Rin-chan stay here and wait for Sensei-sama.", She concluded leaving the hut.

   Sayuri wondered what had happen between Yukiko and her Sensei. She followed the path where they had disappeared an hour ago. When the dirt road came to an end she saw Yukiko and Sesshomaru hugging. "Awwww! They look so cute together!", Sayuri thought happy for her comrades.

   Sesshomaru smelled Sayuri coming and embraced Yukiko a little longer to show his student that he had confessed. "Yuki, Sayuri is waiting for you to tell her what i just told you.", He said with a calm tone. He kissed her on the forehead and left to talk to Inuyasha.

   Sayuri ran to Yukiko and hugged her. "Aw did he told you?!", She asked wanted to hear every detail.

   "Yes, he did! He told me that he has feelings for me!", Yukiko said still feeling like she was dreaming.
   
   "Awww! I'm so happy for you!", Sayuri said giving her another hug. They kept talking and giggling like school girls. After an hour of talking on the things that had happen that day, and concluded that the would come more for Sayuri.

   Miroku went to Kaede's hut in search of Sango. He wanted to talk to her and really clear things out, because she hadn't let him talk earlier. When he entered his twins went running towards him and hugged him tightly. "If i choose to try things with Sayuri, then i might lose my kids...", Miroku thought with disdain.

   "What are you doing here... Please leave, Miroku... I do not wish to speak with you.", Sango said with a cold voice.

    Miroku said good-night to the twins and kissed his baby son, and left the hut. He walked without knowing exactly where he was heading.

   Sayuri couldn't sleep and went for a walk. She walked following the path to see where she can be led to. Suddenly she saw Miroku walking in the opposite direction, and she noticed that he was crying. When she saw a tear drop to the groun her heart broke, Sayuri could not see him like that. So she decided to walk to him and console him.

  "Miroku... What's wrong?...", Sayuri said taking him in her arms. "I'm here for you...", She couldn't resist the urge to console him.

   Miroku kept crying helplessly and felt the warmed in Sayuri's embrace that in a few moments he forgot about Sango and what had happened. "Sayuri...", his voice was so low that it was more like a whisper. "Please... Forgive me..."

   "Miroku...", Sayuri thought. "What happen to you...", she asked.

   Miroku tried to calm himself and said between sobs, "Sango left me... And you will too..."

   "I won't leave you...", Sayuri didn't know why she had said it.

   "Re... Really?", Miroku said raising his head to meet her gaze. Sayuri looked in his eyes and saw true remorse, but she knew she had to tell him to do the right thing even if it meat that she'll be heartbroken.

   "Miroku...", she began saying in a sweet voice. "You have to go and talk to Sango, try to fix things between you and her. Do it for your children... Do it for...", Sayuri couldn't bare to say it, but she knew she had to. "Do it for Sango."

   Miroku's expression changed from sad to confused. "Why?... I'm not sure if i love her like i love you." Those words were like knifes pircing through Sayuri's heart. "Please Sayuri... I want you to give me a chance to be with you...", Miroku's words were what Sayuri had been waiting for... But not like in that situation.

   "Miriro... I love you too... But at least try to fix things with Sango... Do it for me then... If you do not want to do it for her, do it for the love you have for me.", Sayuri said sealing her words with a long, passionate kiss.

    Kira and Inuyasha were making dinner when Sesshomaru and Yukiko stepped inside. Rin ran to Yukiko and hugged her, Yaken in the other hand went to his lord Daiyoukai.

   "Will you be staying for dinner?", Inuyasha asked politely.

   "We would love to!", Yukiko answered with a happy grin. Sesshomaru just gave her a quick glance of approval and sat down, so did Yukiko, Rin and Yaken.

   "We should wait for Sayuri-san until she returns...", Rin suggested.

   "Perhaps we can wait for her for a little bit until the dinner is ready.", Kira said smiling at the little girl.

   Sayuri broke the kiss to catch her breath. "Miroku, tomorrow try to talk to her again. Show her that you really care, and if she rejects you again, then maybe she does not love you like i do. But promise me that you will try ok?", Sayuri wanted him to promise that at least he would try.

   "I will... I promise my Bara no Tsuboni.", Miroku answered giving her a small kiss, "You should go... Probably Inuyasha and Kira are waitning for to for dinner."

   "You're right!, Good night Miriro.", Sayuri said and gave him a small kiss on the ips and went to Inuyasha and Kira's hut.

   When she arrived everyone was waiting for her. "Sorry! I didn't know you were waiting for me..." Sayuri appologized. She sat down between Kira and Yukiko. They had a nice dinner and for the first time in a long time Sayuri felt like she was part of their family.
